About My Herbs:
All the herbs I sell are grown in accordance with organic standards. What that means is they are never treated with chemical fertilizers, pesticides, or herbicides. They are never irradiated (the process of exposing items to radiation to kill bacteria and extend shelf life). Here's an interesting fact, dried spices and herbs are allowed the FDA's strongest radiation treatment and as much as 40% of the herbs you buy over-the-counter are treated this way, so you need to be choosy when purchasing your supplements. Although irradiated foods do not become radioactive themselves, some of their cells are altered by the radiation and no one needs to be ingesting altered cells! |

About Me:
My name is Lisa Galasso and
I love what I do. My passion is herbs/natural healing and I'm working my passion!
I have been interested in herbs, homeopathy, and all forms of natural healing for many, many years now. I studied Nutritional Herbology at Westbrook University and if I could just finish my thesis, I'd have my Bachelor's degree. My main interest was to become a Doctor of Naturopathy, but life got in the way, as it often does. I am a certified Lymphatic Massage Practitioner, a certified Colon Hydrotherapist (non-practicing), I've studied Light & Color Therapy, Homeopathy, Iridology, Bach Flower Remedies, Aromatherapy, Nutritional Counseling, Hair Mineral Analysis, and many more similar subjects.
So now I spend most of my time taking care of my 2 sons, my husband, and our 2 dogs. My intention was not to sell herbs originally, but having overbought, I decided to start selling off some of my stock. Next thing I new, I had a business that I loved! I get to work with herbs every day, I get to speak with all kinds of like-minded people, and every now and then I get to offer some nutritional healing advice. I strongly believe in the healing powers of nature and I practice what I know on myself and on my family and we're all better off for it. |
