Eucalyptus leaves (not the oil) are diuretic, anti-diabetic, have anti-tumor properties, and can be used as a herbal tea. A cold tea/infusion can be useful for indigestion and for intermittent fever. When made into an ointment, it can be useful for bruises, sprains, various muscular pains, and as a chest rub for bronchitis, sinusitis, colds, and flu.
An infusion can be made with 1-2 teaspoons of the leaves to one cup of boiling water. Steep for 10-15 minutes. |
