Elevating and refreshing. It has a fresh, balsamic aroma reminiscent of an evergreen pine forest. Fir Needle soothes muscle and rheumatic pain and increases poor circulation when used in massage oils, linements or baths. Use in salve or other skin preparation as an antiseptic for skin infection. Do not use on deep or puncture type wounds. Fir is good to treat asthma, but only use in between attacks as a preventative. This popular oil is used to bring out masculine, outdoorsy attributes in men’s fragrances, bath preparations, air fresheners, herbal, moss, soaps, and shaving creams. Great in woodsy potpourri blends.
