| Here's a wonderful way to prepare your herbs for salves, ointments, and pomades! This Un-Petroleum Jelly (Natural Wax) is made with all natural oils and waxes and is to be used as an alternative to petroleum-based jellies.
Just melt it down at a low temperature (double boiler or crock pot), add your herbs/oils, and let it simmer until the properties of your herbs are released. You may add beeswax to thicken it into a salve or leave it as it is for a wonderfully emollient ointment.
Since all the ingredients of this product are food grade, there are no issues regarding safety. Melting point: 135-155F
