Oregano essential oil is a potent oil which is antiseptic and kills parasites, viruses, bacteria and fungus. Inhaled, it is believed to be beneficial for respiratory conditions that are bacterial or viral in nature. It also contains analgesic properties and works as an expectorant.
Be a educated consumer. Know that there are lots of other oregano oils sold on the market that are diluted (usually with Olive Oil). Ours is pure, undiluted Genuine Wild Mediterranean Oregano Oil and is very, very potent. Feel free to dilute it yourself, but there's no need if you put it into capsules to take it internally (we will provide them for free).
Oregano is also an effective sedative. Tests have shown that it is one of the most effective oils to relax brain waves. It is a calm relaxing oil that can ease muscle spasms, stiff joints, coughing, indigestion and menstrual cramps. It has been used as a traditional remedy for digestive upsets, respiratory problems (asthma, bronchitis, coughs, etc.) colds, and flu as well as for inflammations of the mouth and throat. In China it is also used to treat fever, vomiting, diarrhea, jaundice and itchy skin conditions. The (diluted) oil has been used externally in herbal medicine for headaches, rheumatism, general aches and pains, and applied to stings and bites. Used as a fragrance component in soaps, colognes and perfumes, especially men’s fragrances.
Because this oil is so strong, we will include empty gel caps for your convenience. Just put a few drops of oil into the capsules and ingest it. This way you will not get the traditional burning sensation in your mouth.
